Electoral Commission Scoops Excellence Award for Effective Marketing Posted on

We’re very proud to have picked up a prize at the Marketing Society’s Excellence Awards in the highly competitive ‘Effective Marketing Communications’ category, where our work for The Electoral Commission beat many others to be crowned winner.

The major public awareness campaign to remind people to register to vote for the 2015 General Election sought to address under-registration in an engaging way by using the concept of loss aversion from behavioural economics. Namely that, in certain situations, people are more likely to be motivated by realising they may losing something, than by the prospect of making a gain.
