True, as ever, to their brand purpose, (‘to ensure our customers pay for and use no more energy than they need’), E.ON  had designed an Energy Saving Toolkit, complete with a comparison function that showed people a cost and usage breakdown across similar households. We were tasked with  raising awareness of the tool and driving people to the website to try it out.

Recognising that we can’t help but compare ourselves to each other, our ‘Compare’ campaign brought out people’s competitive instincts – people are always going to be curious about what they’re paying in comparison to the Joneses!

Following the launch of this campaign, website visits surpassed the initial target figure by 40,000.
